With a prescription from your doctor or a proof of diagnosis, medidux™ is reimbursed by all public health insurance companies in Germany

In order to get the medidux™ app on prescription, follow these three simple steps:

With a prescription from your doctor

1. Prescription

Have your doctor prescribe you medidux™ and submit the prescription to your health insurance company.

2. Activation code

Your health insurance company will send you a 16-digit activation code for free use of the medidux™ app. 

3. Download app

Download medidux™ from the App Store or Google Play Store and activate your medidux™ app with the 16-digit activation code.

Without a prescription from your doctor

1. Proof of diagnosis

If your doctor hasn’t written you a prescription for medidux™, another type of verification of your breast cancer diagnosis will do. Sick notes, doctor’s letters, or quotes from your patient file, for instance, can be used as such proof of diagnosis.

2. Activation code

Submit your diagnosis along with a request to use medidux™ as a DiGA to you health insurance company. They will send you a 16-digit activation code for free use of the medidux™ app.

3. Download app

Download medidux™ from the App Store or Google Play Store and activate your medidux™ app with the 16-digit activation code.

How to prescribe medidux™

medidux™ is suitable for patients over 18 years with the ICD-10 diagnosis: C50 Malignant neoplasm of the mammary gland [breast].

medidux™ is prescribed via the red drug prescription (sample 16, PZN: XXX) from the practice management system. The following information must be noted on the prescription:
